Candy AI review

Candy AI is what happens when a chatbot hits the gym and also learns to draw. Its headline act is the companion side, an AI partner with genuinely persistent memory and a voice, but the image generator riding shotgun is no afterthought: photoreal, anime, and artistic styles, dependable anatomy, and characters that stay consistent from one session to the next, which is rarer than it should be. There is in-chat video too, though it is short and offers roughly as much creative control as a vending machine.

The free tier is a tease, a few daily chats and one SFW image, with the actual NSFW fun behind the paywall from $13.99 a month, softened by a 24-hour refund window. Support is responsive, and US peak hours can drag.

Candy AI Shorts, in brief

The feature quietly eating everyone’s search traffic is Candy AI Shorts: a vertical feed of scripted mini-episodes you binge rather than prompt, a few of them starring AI versions of names like Riley Reid. Each series hands you a couple of episodes for nothing and starts charging from the third, and the whole shelf, prices and both storefronts included, is counted in our Candy AI Shorts breakdown.

It is not the only new toy, either. There is a live cam mode for real-time, reactive sessions; Candy Creators, where real creators license digital twins of themselves, as chat companions and as Shorts series; interactive stories that play like choose-your-own-adventure roleplay with real branching; and a roulette that throws you at a random companion when picking one feels like too much effort. On their own, gimmicks. Together, the sign of a site that has stopped being a chatbot with a sketchpad and started behaving like a full platform.

Bottom line: the pick if you want a companion who remembers your name and can sketch your fantasies, now wrapped in a pile of extras led by Candy AI Shorts. Custom long-form video is still the weak spot, but for chat, images and the new feature sprawl under one roof it delivers, and the deeper dive on its girlfriend side lives in our AI girlfriend sites guide.
